- Industry 4.0: The integrated KERN Universal Port (KUP) allows for connection to external KUP interface adapters (RS-232, USB, Bluetooth, WLAN, Analog, Ethernet, etc.). The advantage is that the KUP interface adapters can be easily inserted, allowing for convenient retrofitting without the need to open the scale housing or perform complicated installations. These interface adapters facilitate the transmission of weighing data to networks, computers, smartphones, tablets, laptops, printers, etc. Control commands and data inputs can also be sent to the scale through the connected devices. Tip: The KERN KUP-13 extension box allows for the simultaneous operation of up to three KUP interface adapters on the scale.
